Soft washes of white and cool grey build the horse's form with a quiet luminosity, while warm tones of amber, rust and teal blur into the background behind. The wild horses of Salt River live free along the riverbanks, but their future is far from certain. Development, removal efforts and shrinking habitat continue to threaten their way of life.
